Our Pricing Philosophy
At Dingit (https://getdingit.com/), all prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR ₹). When browsing restaurant menus on Ding Eats or curated gifting catalogues on Together, the prices shown are established in coordination with our registered merchant partners.
Dingit is completely free to install, browse, and message on (Ding Chat). You only pay when you choose to place a delivery order or purchase a gift.
Order Bill Breakdown
Before you tap to pay, your checkout screen presents an exact line-item breakdown:

Delivery Fee Schedule
Delivery charges are designed to fairly compensate our delivery partners for their time and fuel while keeping doorstep access affordable:
- 0 to 3 Kilometers: Baseline rate of ₹20 to ₹35.
- 3 to 7 Kilometers: Base rate + ₹8 to ₹12 per additional kilometer.
- Extended Distance (>7 km): Calculated based on actual route transit distance to ensure viable rider earnings.
- Surge / Inclement Weather Fee: During severe rainstorms or peak midnight hours, a modest surge (₹15 – ₹30) may apply to incentivize fleet availability. This is always clearly labeled before payment.
- Free Delivery Promotions: Select merchants may offer free delivery on orders surpassing specified minimum basket values (e.g., above ₹399).
Taxes & GST Invoicing
Dingit and its merchant partners comply strictly with Indian Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations. An itemized digital tax invoice containing the merchant's GSTIN, invoice number, and broken-down tax components (CGST/SGST/IGST) is generated for every completed transaction and made available under Account > Orders > Download Invoice.

RBI-Authorized & Encrypted Gateway
Payments on Dingit are processed via Cashfree Payments India Private Limited, an RBI-licensed payment aggregator. We support all major Indian digital payment modes.
You can pay smoothly using:
- Unified Payments Interface (UPI): Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Cred, WhatsApp Pay, and all bank UPI applications.
- Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, and American Express issued by Indian banks (with mandatory RBI 2-factor OTP authentication).
- Internet Banking: Over 50+ public and private commercial banks across India.
- Approved Digital Wallets: Major RBI-compliant prepaid wallets.
Cashfree Payment Protection & Tokenization
Your financial data is never exposed to our servers. All card details are tokenized in compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) tokenization guidelines. Transactions are secured via TLS 1.3 encryption and 256-bit SSL certificates.
Dingit and its staff will never ask you for your UPI PIN, card CVV, Net Banking password, or SMS OTP over the phone, email, or chat.
Refunds & Price Disputes
If you have been charged incorrectly, experienced a double debit, or had an eligible cancelled order, please consult our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment source within 5 to 7 business days via Cashfree's automated banking settlement infrastructure.
